Teddy Bo Anniversary Card

Hello

Me again - get me two posts in one day!

Here is my second card for today and its another anniversary card this time using Teddy Bea and Teddy Bo........

Although Black is my favourite colour I very rarely use it in cards so this time I thought I'd team up some blacks and greys - what do you think???

I might use this for my Mum & Dad whose anniversary is coming up next month.

Can I do any more posts over the weekend - who knows, watch this space!

Bye for now!

Love Trip Anniversary Card

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all well. It's the bank holiday weekend here in the UK so we get an extra day off on Monday - hurrah! Only problem is that the weather forecast for tomorrow is not very good at all, typical for Bank Holiday but fingers crossed it will improve for Sunday and Monday. If not I'll just have to pop to Crafty Corner won't I!

Anyway on to the crafting.....

As it is Bank Holiday I took half day holiday this afternoon just to make the most of it, and after a nice coffee and a chat with my buddy Karen it was then back home to Crafty Corner and this is my first creation an anniversary card.

I've used the Love Trip digi stamps from Wee Stamps and I've coloured it with Spectrum Noir and Promarkers (see below).

I hope you like it.

Right I'm off to watch a bit of tv before I go off to bed - early start in the morning to go swimming!

Enjoy the weekend, See you soon

With Sympathy Card

Hi Everyone

At last we have reached the weekend - hurrah! And as tomorrow sees the start of the football season (oh deep joy!) at least someone will be preoccupied and I can creep off to Crafty Corner!

Today we had the sad news that Brent's boss passed away after suffering from a brain tumor that they were unable to operate on. Of course I had to make a card for the family. I was intending to do this tomorrow but impatient me had an idea in my head and so I had to make it tonight. Here it is - I decided to do White on White, only ever done this once before but I think it turned out ok.

What do you think? I'd appreciate your comments as I think its the first time I've had to do a sympathy card.

Right, I'm off now for a fairly early night up early for swimming. Watch this space for some postings from Crafty Corner over the weekend - Hopefully!

Bye for now

Just a note to say.....I'm thinking of you

Hi Everyone

As you may have seen from one of my earlier posts - we have unfortunately had to close the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog for the time being as Diane, who runs the blog, has sadly been diagnosed with cancer and is taking some time off to concentrate on spending time with her family and her treatment.

You just can't find the words to say something to someone who is going through this tough time so I decided I would make Diane a card instead. And as it is a special one I've gone a bit girly and used pink, lace and a doily. I think this will make Diane smile as she knows I don't do girly or pink! Here's the card:-

I hope you like it and I hope Diane does too!

Sending a huge hug and best wishes to Diane and her family and I hope to see her around in blogland very soon.

Teddy Bo Anniversary Easel Card

Hello Everyone!

Enjoying your weekend so far! I've had a pretty good day today - up early for a swim, done some washing, had the shopping delivered, cooking a roast dinner and managed to spend a good few hours in Crafty Corner (as someone else was having a snooze on the sofa!!) - Not done that for quite some time, and very enjoyable it was too! I managed to get three cards made - Here is the 1st one, the others will follow later in the week......

Here is my Teddy Bo and Bea anniversary card I've made today and thought I would do an easy easel card as I've not done one of those for a while.

Instead of shading the hearts I decided to use all if the Spectrum Noir red colours on different hearts and added Glossy Accents to a few - what do you think?? Hope you like it.

I wonder if I'll get in to Crafty Corner tomorrow??

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Crafty Friends Challenge Blog - Update

Hi Everyone

We are now back from our summer holidays and so now have full internet connection again - Hurrah! Until you don't have a phone signal or internet you don't know how much you need it.

It is with regret that I have to notify you that the Crafty Friends Challenge Blog is currently closed until further notice. The last challenge was posted on the blog on 25 July. We have had the sad news that Diane has been diagnosed with cancer and so quite rightly so needs to concentrate on her treatment and spend time with her family. All being well we will re-launch the challenge later in the year.

Thanks for all of you that have taken the time to enter our previous challenges - hopefully we'll see you all again soon.

Sending love and hugs to Diane and her family.

Lisa xx
