Christmas Gift Card 1

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all well - last day of November, where has that month gone! December tomorrow, will I get my own way and be able to put the tree up?????

Anyway, not been up to much today so I popped to Crafty Corner for a while - My Mum has asked me to make a couple of gift cards for her to send money to my cousins in Canada. Here is the 1st one I made today

I think the image is from Pollycraft (it's one I have saved somewhere!) and I'm loving this new paperpad from First Edition - Glad you 'made' me buy it Karen!!

Look out for the other card a bit later!

Songbird Challenge #29 Die Another Day (Meljens)

40th Birthday Gift Card - USA themed

Hi Everyone

If you are reading this post on Saturday night then I am partying the night away! Night off from Slimming World lol!

It's Scott's 40th birthday party that we have gone to tonight and very soon they are off on holiday to Florida so I got Scott some US Dollars for his pressie so I had to make a gift card to put them in and here it is:-

 

I've used a couple of printed papers that I found on the interweb and some buttons that I found on ebay - perfect!

Teddy Bo New Release

40th Birthday - BBQ Teddy Bo

Hi Everyone

It's our friend's 40th Birthday today and Teddy Bo have the perfect image for me to use as Scott does like to take control of a BBQ or two. Here is the card:-

The Bear Necessities paperpad from LOTV makes the perfect colour combo! I've also made a giftcard for Scott's present and I'll post this one on Saturday after we've been to the party. Quite looking forward to the party, even bought another skirt to wear - lol!

Cute Cottage Crafts Event - 09 November 2013

Hello Everyone

Yesterday I went to the first luxury craft event held by Cute Cottage Crafts and it was a fab crafty day! What better way then to spend all day on a Saturday crafting! We made four projects in total - 3 cards and a Christmas Ornament and box. Thank you Sarah & Karen for arranging all off this we all had a fab time. They even provided us with pink glittered cupcakes! Here are the projects we made:-

Had a fab time and spent a bit on the goodies that were for sale!

 

Hopefully Karen & Sarah will arrange another event soon - was well worth the money and I'll will definitely go again!

New Home Card - Saturated Canary

Hello everyone

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend. We've spent most of ours indoors with two upset doggies on our laps - neither of them are very impressed with the fireworks going off around here at the mo, especially Saren! Only a few more days to go!!

Anyway on to the important stuff and a friend of mine is moving into a new flat on Tuesday and so of course I had to make a card. I'm going to the first Cute Cottage Crafts day on Saturday and I have a bit of inside info (as Karen is my buddy!) that one of the projects we are doing involves pink. I'm not very good at using pink on cards so I thought I'd have a bit of a practice. I've used one of the new houses that have been launched on Saturated Canary, which are dead cute! I've used the Sweet Fairy Tower:-

 

What do you think?? I'm quite liking this pink and brown combo.
