Platypus Creek new challenge - Flowers

Well where did that Bank Holiday weekend go - good job there is another one in 4 weeks time. Fingers crossed that the weather for that one will be much better. Anyway, back in crafty mode its time for a new challenge at Platypus Creek and this time the theme is flowers. I've used the Platypus Creek Frienship Flower digistamp and this has been coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. The backing papers/cards are Bazzill and Cute Creatures and Florals from Nancy Watt. I've also used the Martha Stewart butterfly border punch (thanks for letting me buy this off you Karen!), Ribbon and large daisy are from my stash. My friend asked me to make her a 'sorry' card and so I decided on using this Woodland Folk decoupage image which looks like the hedgehog is saying 'sorry' for knocking the plant pot over. The backing papers are from the Woodland Folk range, DCWV and Core d'inations. I've used the scalloped circle die from X-cut and also a flower border punch. The ribbon is from Dovecraft and I've used peel offs and gems from my stash. The flowers are from Wild Orchid. I hope this card has the desired effect! Lisa x

Commissioned Country Companions Birthday Card

I was asked to make a birthday card for my friends Aunt who is in her 70's/80's and so I decided to use a Country Companions decoupage image. I've made this card using 2 glittered backing papers from Country Companions, lilac bazzill card, lace and flowers from Wild Orchid. The dies are labels 23 from Spellbinders and the Macarena Corner from Memory Box. Gems from stash. I hope she likes it :0)

Forever Friends Good Luck card

Sande, the lady that runs the Forever Friends Challenge Blog and Deisgn Team is stepping down, and Lizzie that is taking over her role, thought it would be nice if the Design Team members made her some cards as a token of our appreciation. This is the card I've made. I've used a Forever Friends decoupage image, green and cream card from stash, backing paper is from the Me to You Spring Chic paper pack. Dies are from Spellbinders. Cream ribbon from stash and pale green candi from Craftwork cards. The greeting is 'Good Luck' in Finnish.
