Through The Craftroom Door Challenge #34 Sketch and #35 Colours of Fall

TTCRD Challenge #31 - Anything Goes With A Twist

Hi Everyone

Are you all enjoying the Olympics? I must admit we have watched more of it than we thought we would, and a majority of it has been very good. Very well done to Bradley Wiggins on winning gold in the time trials today, great ride. Unfortunately Tom Daley didn't do quite so good the other day in the diving, was hoping that I might have something more possitive to say when I posted this card - never mind, better luck next week Tom!

Anyway, back to the new challenge at Through The Craftroom Door which runs from 01-15 August. The theme is anything goes with a twist - white with two other colours (using skin and hair colours are fine) and is sponsored by Ippity and Dude Time Doodles. TTCRD New Challenge - Christmas in July

Hi Everyone

Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Can you believe that it is only 6 months till Christmas! No me neither and so the theme of the new challenge at TTCRD is Christmas in July. Here is my DT card.

I've coloured the Forever Friends stamp with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. The dies are from X-cut and the papers are embossed Bazzill, DCWV and two from First Paper. Flowers, gems and bows are from stash.

Through The Craftroom Door Challeng #28 Summer Lovin'

Hurrah! It's Friday - Seems to have taken an age to get here this week. Today sees the start of a new challenge at TTCRD and the theme is Summer Lovin' - the lyrics from the hit song from the film and musical Grease. The sponsor of this challenge is Bugaboo and the winner of the challenge gets to chose 7 Digistamps from them of their choice.

Here is my DT Card and I took my inspiration from the lines of the song 'Tell Me More Tell Me More, Like Does He Have a Car' (the full lyrics can be found on the TTCRD challenge page).

This could be Danny in Greased Lightning on his way to Thunder Road - do you think I'm getting a bit carried away!!

I've coloured the Guy Car digistamp with Spectrum Noir pens and the wheels with a silver pen. The papers I've used (yes I've managed to use 3 again today!) are from the Shaken Not Stirred paper pad from Kaiser Craft. I've also used some card from stash as well as red and black ribbons and a few clear gems. The dies are from Spellbinders and X-Cut.

Through The Craftroom Door Challenge - Distressing

Time for the new challenge at Through The Craftroom Door and this time the theme is Distressing and is sponsored by Guylou. This was a new challenge for me as I had never done this before, and I must say a big thank you to Karen for lending me the ink and the distressing tool! I've couloured the Guylou image using Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. The Papermania papers have been coloured with Tim Holtz ink and I've used a distressing tool on the edges. Backing card is from Bazzill and the ribbons are from stash. I also coloured the feathers with the Tim Holtz ink too. The pearls are from Bo Bunny. Through The Craftroom Door Challenge - Photo Inspiration

Hello Everyone Today sees the start of a new challenge at Through The Craftroom Door and the theme this time is 'Photo Inspiration'. Here is my Design Team card - I decided to use muted colours on my card and I've coloured the Gilli image with Spectrum Noir and Promarker pens. This could be me in mhy slanket with a cuppa!! The backing papers are all from the First Edition New Leaf paperpad and I've also added a gold and cream ribbon from by stash. Through The Craftroom Door Challenge - Your favourite technique

Hello Everyone

Last official day of my Easter Holiday today and I've set the alarm clock for the morning :0(. On the plus side I have spent some time in Crafty Corner this afternnon as Brent has been watching the football.

I am please to annouce that recently I have also been added to the Design Team at Through The Craftroom Door. The theme for the new challenge is 'your favourite technique' and this is my favourite - 3d Decoupage. This is the card I have made for the challenge.

It is made using a Forever Friends decoupage image and Forever Friends papers and Bazzill card. I've used a border punch and 3 different ribbons - one from Dovecraft and 2 from my stash. Flowers bought from ebay and an umbrella charm.
