Alice in Wonderland Digistamp release day two

Well another hot day - and a late match at Wimbledon (watching on the tv not actually there!). Great match but a shame Nadal lost.

Back to today's business.....2nd day of the Alice in Wonderland digistamp release at Platypus Creek and today its the Queen of Hearts and Five. Here is my card using the Five digistamp. I've coloured him using Spectrum Noir pens. The papers are from DCWV and Bazzill (embossed with dots). The dies are from X-cut. I've added red stickles to the herats on the staff and the tunic, added '5' foiletti red hearts and a red and red and white heart print ribbon.

Hope you like it and if you would like to get the Five digistamp or the Queen of Hearts you can get it from Platypus Creek.

Forever Friends Challenge #42 Inspired by the USA

Hello Everyone!

So England are out of Euro 2012 - what a surprise! So today I turn my thoughts the the USA - the new challenge at Forever Friends is inspired by the USA and is sponsored by Whimsy Stamps.

Here is my DT card and I've made a kicker plate card. The backing papers are printed off the internet and the plain blue and red papers are from DCWV. The Forever Friends bear with the megaphone is printed from the Forever Friends Black & Gols sample CD rom which was a freebie with Simply Cards & Papercraft a while ago and I've decoupaged this. The penant die is from Whimsy Stamps (thanks for the loan Karen!). The peel off's, bow and gems are from stash. 1st time I've used printed images and papers together and its ok - might look into getting some CD Roms for the future!

Come and join in the challenge at Forever Friends!

Bowling Throphy

Hi Everyone

Hope you are enjoying the weekend - I'm looking forward to tomorrow, Brent is off out bowling and to watch the England footy game and so I'm off to Crafty Corner (can't wait - so behind on my DT cards!). Also found out today that there is an interview on Absolute 80's radio with Morten Harket at 8pm so I will be in a great mood - a-ha and crafting at the same time fab! (Reading Fifty Shades Darker will have to go on hold for tomorrow!)

Anyway, back to today.... we've had a nice day taking the dogs to West Malling Country Park and Haysden Country Park (managed to dodge the showers) - girls had a good time running and swimming and looking at ducks.

We found one of Brent's old trophies and I thought I'd recycle it for their bowling tomorrow - I've used the Bowling digistamp from SweetnSassy and coloured it with Spectrum Noir and Papermania  pens. The dies I've used are from X-cut and I've also laminated it. I've also added 3 gold Dovecraft (christmas stars) and a Congratulations peel off.

Fingers crossed the trophy doesn't come back home with Brent and roll on 4pm tomorrow!

Happy Father's Day - Shaken Not Stirred!

Been waiting for ages to blog this card! But now I can as it's Father's Day. I made this for my otherhalf from our two dogs Woodi & Saren and in case you can't guess Brent is a James Bond nut!

Dead easy card to make this one - I've used black, red and silver card from stash and a page from the 'Shaken not Stirred' paperpad from Kasier craft. The tag is also I die cut from the same paperpack and also added a few gems. On the inside I used a sheet of the same paper (but non-foiled) to leave me (sorry Woodi & Saren!!) space to write the message. The image I just found on the internet and printed out!

Brent loved it!

Hope you've all had a good weekend - back to work tomorrow :0(

Through The Craftroom Door Challeng #28 Summer Lovin'

Hurrah! It's Friday - Seems to have taken an age to get here this week. Today sees the start of a new challenge at TTCRD and the theme is Summer Lovin' - the lyrics from the hit song from the film and musical Grease. The sponsor of this challenge is Bugaboo and the winner of the challenge gets to chose 7 Digistamps from them of their choice.

Here is my DT Card and I took my inspiration from the lines of the song 'Tell Me More Tell Me More, Like Does He Have a Car' (the full lyrics can be found on the TTCRD challenge page).

This could be Danny in Greased Lightning on his way to Thunder Road - do you think I'm getting a bit carried away!!

I've coloured the Guy Car digistamp with Spectrum Noir pens and the wheels with a silver pen. The papers I've used (yes I've managed to use 3 again today!) are from the Shaken Not Stirred paper pad from Kaiser Craft. I've also used some card from stash as well as red and black ribbons and a few clear gems. The dies are from Spellbinders and X-Cut.

I hope you like it and don't forget to join in the challenge at TTCRD

Enjoy the weekend!

Teddy Bo BBQ Birthday card

Hi Everyone! At last we had a day without rain today - although they did forecast showers, but they never appeared. Should have chanced putting my washing out! Never mind. Anyway I made this card yesterday, managed to post it on Facebook but for some reason I could not get blogger to work - it seems to be back to normal today though. I've made this card for a work colleague who is hosting a BBQ this weekend (although his birthday is not for a couple of weeks), but I thought I'd still go with the theme - fingers crossed the weather stays nice! I've coloured the BBQ Teddy Bo image with Spectrum Noir and ProMarker pens. The papers I've used are from DCWV, Bazzill and Forever Friends. The gold and blue ribbons are from stash and the star ribbon is from the Dovecraft Forever Friends range. I've also added a few peel offs and some Bo Bunney pearls. Hope you like it. Please feel free to comment - I love to read them. Fingers crossed for the weather staying nice! Second Commissioned Wedding Card

Hello Everyone - We've finally made it to Friday night and hurrah its an extra long Bank Holiday weekend! Just a shame that the weather forecast is a bit rubbish - but no change there for a bank holiday. I've not had to make any wedding cards for years and then I get asked to make two in a matter of weeks. Here is the second one I've made using the I do SWALK stamp from Crafters Companion. I've coloured this with Spectrum Noir and Promarker pens and I've also added glossy accents and stickles. Backing card is from stash and the glittered swirl paper is from Best Creations. Ribbons are from our local cake making shop and the flowers are from Wild Orchid and Oyster Stamps. Pearls are from stash. Dies are from X-cut. This time I decided that I would put the greeting on the inside - along with 2 heart gems. Now with a rubbish weather forescast how much crafting can I fit in this weekend??!!
