For a Wonderful Friend.....

It was my friend Debbie's birthday yesterday and so I had to make her card and post it quite early as we are away. Here it is:-

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all well. It's the last day of our holiday in Somerset today and we have had a fab time. Good job we also have next week off to recover! And we have an extra treat of going to see the new West End show - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I can't wait!

Anyway on to a bit more crafting and it is two of my friend's wedding anniversaries today, so I decided to use the same Forever Friends stamp but with two different backgrounds. Here they are:-

It is also Debbie's birthday today (see my other post for today!!).

You're my best friend.....

Hello Everyone!

Have you all melted yet?? - it certainly is very warm here at the mo - and I don't wish to complain but it is a bit too hot for me to sit out in it! However, we are off on our summer holiday on Saturday so we would like this nice sunny weather to last but it could cool down a smidge- especially as we will have the dogs with us. Don't think going for long walks in 30 degree heat is ideal from them!

But, on to the crafting and it's one of my best friend's birthday today so an ideal opportunity to us the Best Friends SWALK stamp from Crafters Companion again. I also used the Forever Friends Kraft Notes paper pad which I really like at the mo. Here's the card:-

Rather than putting the sentiment on the front I thought I'd put it on the inside. What do you think?? I hope you like it, and I hope Ann does too! Personally I think I have done a bit better with the hair on this one.

As we are on holiday for a week I've got to make another 3 cards this week - not quite sure how I'm going to fit that in as well as packing, but I'll give it a good try!!

Crafty Friends Team 2 Challenge - Photo Inspiration

Hello Everyone!

Phew what a scorcher! At last the weather has turned the corner here in Kent and we are loving the Sunshine! However I am also taking part in the Cancer Research Race for Life 5K tomorrow - could be a tadge warm - drinks are already in the freezer. Think I might have to walk some of it rather than run - but at least there is no time limit!

So on to the Crafty Friends Team 2 challenge and this time it is a photo inspiration challenge - and quite appropriate as the weather has improved!

Happy 60th Birthday Phil!

Hi Everyone!

Had a great time at the party last night - food was lovely (had a night off from Slimming World!!). And we then got invited to a Barbeque and Phil & Ann's house today - good weekend I'd say!

Here is the gift card I made for Phil's birthday. They are off to Las Vegas next week so as a present I got Phil some US Dollars to spend while they are there. So I tried to make the card 'Las Vegas' themed.

Phil loved it I am pleased to say! Hope you all like it too.

So that's this weekend over and I have they day off work tomorrow so I'm off to the pool in the morning to work off the food and booze from this weekend, oh and it just happens to be the first day of Wimbledon - so that's me sorted!

That's Mister Old Fart to you!

Hi Everyone

Look at me doing a Mid-week post - Can't promise that it will happen too often! It's mean to be the hottest day of the year today (we'll see!) - although I work in an air-conditioned office so still have to go to work dressed for winter lol!

Today is our friend's 60th birthday and I thought that Gus from Bugaboo Stamps would make a good image to use. I'm also making a gift card for his present (this will follow at the weekend after his party). So here's the card...................

Father's Day Part Two

Hello Me again!

Sad I know, but I always make a card for Brent from Woodi & Saren - last year he had James Bond and this year I found an appropiate Teddy Bo image as they do just 'love their dad' lol!

Now they say that Blue and Green should never be seen but I quite like this colour combo - what do you think??

 

Hopefully Brent likes this and his book and chocolate that the girls spent their 'pocket money' on!
