Happy Halloween everyone!

Just a quick post from me today just to share a picture of the pumpkin I made and my 'babies' ready for the Trick or Treaters to come round:-

 

Woodi and Saren were really impressed - not! but Saren (Shih Tzu) did get a kiss and a stroke off of a couple of little tots that were at the door!

 

Pleased to say that most of the sweets went so not much temptation left at home. The leftovers will be going to work with me tomorrow!

 

All quiet here now and I'll be back soon with a card or two!

Autumn Birthday - Fall Teddy Bea

Hello Everyone

Hope you are all well - It's nearly the end of October already, how time flies - soon by the Festive Season!!

Anyway for the mo we are still in Autumn, although now the clocks have changed it seems like the middle of winter already. It's one of the girls at work's birthday so as we are in October I decided to use this super cute Fall Teddy Bea, just perfect for this time of year. And my chance I had the perfect paperpad to use too - New Leaf from First Edition. Here she is what do you think??

I was thinking to start with that there maybe too much brown in the colouring, but now it's put together I think it looks quite good. I hope Lisa likes her too!

Right I'm off now to plan my pumpkin design!

Songbird Challenge #27 Dancing Queen

Hello Everyone!

Hope you are all well - today sees the start of the new challenge at the Songbird Challenge blog and it is my first for this Design Team. Before I get on to the card I've made let me explain how Songbird works. Every challenge has a theme which is based around a song title or lyrics from a song.

My crafty buddy Karen has given me the additional challenge of trying to get in as many A-ha or Adam Ant songs as I can in these challenges (as they are two of by all time favourites)! However not for this challenge - as our theme this time is ........'Dancing Queen' and it is sponsored by:-

Here's my card and I've used the Clarinet image from Saturated Canary - get the music theme I did there!!!!

Teddy Bo, Bea and Friends...........

Hi all

Did you manage to have a look at the new release from Teddy Bo yesterday?? Here is another card I've made for one of the Teddy Bo DT who has been in hospital recently. The image includes our favourite bears, Teddy Bo and Bea and their two new friends Olli and Molly. What do you think??

Teddy Bo Tuesday New Release

Garden Bear Birthday card

Hi all

I had an un-expected day at home today, sore and annoying mouth and have got to go back to the dentist tomorrow - that is a lot sooner than I expected! So how did I fill my time, well in Crafty Corner of course!

At last my news pens arrived today, which is a bit of luck! They came from France that's why they took so long! Here is a card I've made for Brent's Dad for his birthday - he is a keen gardener so I thought it was Ok to include a few flowers!

I much prefer this colour of bear! Still need to practice this fur lark though - Maybe one day I'll get the hang of it! I hope you like him, please let me know what you think.

Off to the dentist bright and early in the morning, depending on what they do depends on if I make it into work or not - Hopefully I will! I'll keep you posted.

Happy Beer Day....

Hi all

Hope you are all having a good weekend - I'm still suffering with a painful mouth at the mo, might need another trip to the dentist sooner than I wanted!

Anyway on to the important stuff and here is the card I've made for my Dad's birthday which is next weekend. I've used a different bear this time from Di's Digi Downloads, still trying to practice my fur colouring!

How do you think the fur colouring is coming along?? Still waiting for my other colours to arrive - they are taking forever!

I'm sure Dad will like this, now to try and think of what present to get him!
