Seems like ages since I've blogged, done some colouring lately but not actually made them into cards! Need to get a wriggle on I've got a few to do for April!

Here is my latest card - a 'we accept your kind invitation to your party' from our friends for their 40th Wedding Anniversary and here it is:-

I've used Monty Mouse from Di's Digi downloads - cute isn't he! (I've also coloured him for my mum's mother's day card, but in warm greys).

Hi all

I had an un-expected day at home today, sore and annoying mouth and have got to go back to the dentist tomorrow - that is a lot sooner than I expected! So how did I fill my time, well in Crafty Corner of course!

At last my news pens arrived today, which is a bit of luck! They came from France that's why they took so long! Here is a card I've made for Brent's Dad for his birthday - he is a keen gardener so I thought it was Ok to include a few flowers!

I much prefer this colour of bear! Still need to practice this fur lark though - Maybe one day I'll get the hang of it! I hope you like him, please let me know what you think.

Off to the dentist bright and early in the morning, depending on what they do depends on if I make it into work or not - Hopefully I will! I'll keep you posted.

Happy Beer Day....

Hi all

Hope you are all having a good weekend - I'm still suffering with a painful mouth at the mo, might need another trip to the dentist sooner than I wanted!

Anyway on to the important stuff and here is the card I've made for my Dad's birthday which is next weekend. I've used a different bear this time from Di's Digi Downloads, still trying to practice my fur colouring!

How do you think the fur colouring is coming along?? Still waiting for my other colours to arrive - they are taking forever!

I'm sure Dad will like this, now to try and think of what present to get him!

Commissioned Christening Card

Hello Everyone

For once it was a lovely sunny Sunday
 in Kent (not that warm yet though) and as it was so nice to see the sun we though we would head off to Margate with the dogs. Wasn't such a good plan as the nearer we got to the coast the foggier it got, so much so that by the time we reached the beach you couldn't see much at all! Never mind the girls enjoyed their run in the sand and having a paddle in the sea (the water must have been freezing!).

So now the important stuff - I managed to finish this card off for my friend today who asked me to make a christening card for her as she is being a Godparent:-

I've used the Baptism Bear from Di's Digi Dowloads and teamed it up with some of my new papers I've just bought from First Edition. And as its for a special occasion, I've decorated the inside of the card too.

Forever Friends Monthly Challenge - Christmas

Hi Everyone

Well we've finally reached December and we even had snow yesterday morning! Needless to say the trains were up the creek and I was late for work, but it didn't last long luckily. Plus for the last two nights we have had power cuts at home - far too cold for that and it really plays havoc with my Crafting (and dinner)!

Male card with a Gardening Theme

Finished off this card tonight (did the colouring yesterday) - and it could be used for either a male birthday or Father's Day. Just in case I'm not saying what I am going to use this card for at the mo!! Commissioned Birthday Card - Fairy Heart

Hello Everyone Getting really fed up with this very wet drought, so to cheer myself up I've been back in Crafty Corner this evening! Coloured a few images (for up and coming DT cards), but also finished this card off for my friend Claire. The digi-image I've used is Fairy Heart from Di's Digi Downloads and is coloured with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens. The papers I've used are from Papermania (managed to use 3 differnt ones again - go me!). I quite like having the pink ribbon as the accent colour - ribbon is from Paperchase. Commissioned Special Sister card

Hello Again

Looking forward to spending the evening in Crafty Corner tonight as Brent has got to go to work on nights(yippeee!!).

This is the card I have made for my friend who wanted a special card for her sister. The image is from Di's Digi Downloads and is coloured with Spectrum Noir and Pro-markers pens. Papers are from Raspberry Road (free with this month's Quick Cards made Easy magazine. Other card from stash, along with ribbons and a strawberry charm. The embossed panel has been made using a Papermania embossing folder.

Second Commissioned Easter Card

This is the second Easter card I have made for my friend. This one is made using papers from the Me to You Spring Chic range and the image is Easter Izzy from Di's Digi Downloads. This has been coloured with Spectrum Noir and Promarker pens. Easter greeting downloaded from the internet and gems, buttons and ribbons from stash.

Forever Friends Fortnightly Challenge

I have chosen this image from Di's and it is coloured with Spectrum Noir and Promarker pens. The dies are from x-cut (circle and scalloped circle and large decorative frame). Ribbons, bows and flowers from stash. Sentiment stamp is from the Woodland Folk free stamps from an edition of the Docrafts magazine.
