You can't have one without the other so......................

................Here is Teddy Bo with a Christmas Wreath!

I posted Teddy Bea yesterday. This is another one that I coloured last weekend and I managed to put it together tonight, as Brent was a bit late home.

I thought I would try and make this Christmas card a bit more 'manly' so that I can use it possibly for Brent's Dad. I also was tried to use the new fur technique that I was talking about yesterday. So here he is:-

Thanks Karen for the tip on making the photos larger too!

What do you think - cute isn't he! Still practicing on the fur (and still waiting for some new pens to arrive - hurry up post!!)

Please let me know what you think, - I appreciate all your comments.

I have the day off tomorrow so I'm off to plan what I'm going to make when I get back from the dentist (dreading it :0( !!)

Teddy Bea Christmas Wreath

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all Ok. I'm still getting over the news that I am now part of the Teddy Bo Design Team - going to take a while to sink in that one!

Anyway, this is a Teddy Bea card that coloured just before I became part of the DT and I was able to put the card together last night. Gave myself the night off from Slimming World as I'm still waiting to go to the dentist on Friday. I've been using my new Flexmarkers again to try and do the fur - what do you think?? I personally think that my colouring is better on the 'topper' only rather than the finished card but I stuffed up the topper by adding some stickles to the edge and it ended up looking pants (although it does photograph better!).

Watch this space in the next few days for Christmas Wreath Teddy Bo!

Let me know what you think, I appreciate all your comments

Thanks for having a look

Teddy Bea's Partner in crime.......Teddy Bo!

Hi All!

Hurrah it's Friday and what a week I have had, and not for good reasons. Wednesday was a particularly bad day but at least now we've reached the weekend and by all accounts the weather is meant to be nice so things are on the up! Plus we have a 40th birthday party to go to tomorrow (day off from Slimming World lol).

Anyway back to the crafting.....

Last Saturday afternoon I spent colouring four images of Teddy Bea and Teddy Bo while Brent was watching the football. I've already posted the 1st Teddy Bea card and so here is the 1st of the Teddy Bo cards, Christmas Candy Cane Bo............

Do you like him?? I can see that this paperpad is fast becoming my second favourite and I can see me buying another one very soon! I even bought the new copy of Papercraft Inspirations magazine as it has a sample paperpack with it along with a Forever Friends stamp and some diecuts.

I'll post the next Teddy Bo & Bea cards in the next few days and will now start my colouring of a couple of new images I've just got from Wee Stamps. Watch this space!

Off now to finish watching 80's night on Channel 4, quite funny so far!

Have a good weekend everyone....

Forever Friends Fortnightly Challenge No 51 Christmas Cards

Hi Everyone!

I'm using my last day's holiday today before Christmas so I'm spending the day in Crafty Corner. Also we had to take one of my babies to the vet today for a heart scan - Woodi is a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and heart murmurs are very common in this breed. Fingers crossed she will be back on track with some medication. Will be picking her up a bit later this afternoon.

So back to Crafty Corner:-

Merry Christmas Molly

Well we've reached December! Managed to make Brent agree to buying a real tree today and have decorated it - wasn't without its drama though, bought the tree, got the decs out of the loft and then realised that the tree stand broke a couple of years ago so we had nothing to put the tree in! Sunday trading laws mean that most shops shut at 4pm ona sunday but on checking on line I found that the Range is open 11 - 5 and not 10 - 4. But I only found this out at 4.45 - luckily we are not far from the range (and with a little bit of speeding in our little Alfa Romeo!) we managed to get to the range with a few minutes to spare and hurrah we have a decorated tree in place! Only 'downside' as this took up loads of time I didn't have time to cook a roast, shame we had to have pizza instead!

Now back to the important crafty stuff!

Here is the card I made for my crafty buddy Karen and I tried to make it in her style as much as possible! I managed to use 3 patterened papers (I struggle with this quite often), plus it has flowers, ribbon and corners - just not pink or Tilda (Which are her fav's!) - Still hope you like it Karen!

Merry Christmas and keeping everything crossed for you and your family for 2013!

Hope you all like this too!

Whoopsi Daisy Christmas Angel

Hi Everyone

I've had a bit of a spend up this week! Well only cost me £5.00 so far as I had my 15 year presentation at work and got a £200 gift and also a £300 theatre break. Thought I'd better not spend all of the gift money on crafting goodies so I split the money between crafty stuff and Pandora! I also got a certificate, bottle of champers and a glass award.

I had a spend up at Oyster Stamps with Karen yesterday and bought another 4 sets of Spectrum Noir pens from Crafters Companion.

Didn't have a great deal of time toinight so I just made a quickie Christmas card using one of my new corner dies and a few of my pens.

Hope you like it..................

You never know I might get a bit more time to use my goodies over the weekend (thank goodness its Friday tomorrow!). Off to plan the theatre break!

Lisa xx
