Father's Day......

....I know I'm a week late in posting this, but you know how it is.....

Anyway I'll keep this post short - bit late now after watching England lose miserably in their World Cup match - so here are the cards I made for my Dad and Brent's Dad:-

Hello Everyone!

Look at me doing a blogpost in the middle of the day! I had to take a day's holiday today as we had a new mattress delivered. It actually turned up before 8am so I could have gone into work after all, but well I decided I'd still have the day off! As it was delivered so early I was even at the Swimming Pool before 9am! And what to do for the rest of the day.....well of course I've spent the time in Crafty Corner! So far I've made two cards (one to follow shortly in April) and I'm just about to start another for the Forever Friends Design Team Challenge Blog.

Here is my first card for today and its for a friends birthday that is at the beginning of April - I'm sure he will like it as he does like a pint or two!

I've used the Alf with Beer digistamp from Digistamp Boutique and some of the new papers from Nitwits that I've just bought from LOTV.

Right, off to do a bit of printing and I can't wait till bedtime!

I've now only got two more nights of my other half working night shift so I've had to make the most of being in Crafty Corner tonight and tomorrow! Managed to finish this card off today - coloured it a few nights ago - the digistamp is Alf with Beer from Digistamp Boutique and I've coloured him with Spectrum Noir and Promarker pens and I've also added some glossy accents to the beer froth. The papers I've used are all from the New Leaf paperpack from First Edition. The ribbon is from the Dovecraft Forever Friends range and the pearls are from Bo Bunney. Commissioned Easter Card

Finished this card of this evening for my friend Claire. This Easter card is for her 9 year old son. The digistamp used is from Digistamp Boutique and is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and Promarkers. The blue glitter paper is from DCWV, the other papers are from the Me to You Spring Chic Collection. Ribbon and gems from stash and Easter Egg confetti. printed sentiment.

Retirement Card

Third night in Crafty Corner - lets hope Brent being on nightshift carries on into next week! Made this card tonight for a work colleague that is retiring next month. Used the Grandad digistamp from Digistamp Boutique, coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. Card is from Core'dinations and the backing papers are from 7 Gypsies - Venice Canal. Peel offs and gems and the orange ribbon is from Dovecraft. Dies are from Spellbinders.

Alf and Beer 21st Birthday Card

Finally after god know how many years, Brent has finally asked me to make him a card for someone! Made this for one of his work colleagues who is going to be 21 in a couple of weeks. Used Digistamp Boutique image of Alf and Beer and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens. Glossy accents added to the beer froth. Used Core d'inations card and 2 papers from Graphic 45 Communique Collection - Society Page and Classy Correspondance. Ribbons, gems and peel offs. Die cuts made with Spellbinders and Xcut dies.
